How we make Lola's guidance
Everything we publish is meant to be accurate, useful, and honest about what we know. Here's how we hold that bar.
Research and sources
Our guidance is grounded in authoritative sources — including the American Academy of Dermatology, peer-reviewed research, and established medical references. Where we make a claim about skin, ingredients, or treatments, we show where it comes from.
Accuracy and review
Every article is reviewed for accuracy before it's published, and revisited as understanding changes. We are building a formal review process with board-certified dermatologists; once an article has been medically reviewed, it will carry the reviewer's name and credentials. Until then, we keep medical claims conservative and point you to a professional where it matters.
Not medical advice
Lola's guidance is educational. It isn't a diagnosis or a substitute for care from a licensed dermatologist. If a concern is persistent, painful, or worrying, please see a professional.
Corrections and updates
We date what we publish and update it when it needs it. If you spot something that looks wrong, tell us at hello@lolaapp.ai and we'll review it.
